Dear friends of MVMD,
This morning we announced the appointment of five additional advisors to MVMD, and I wanted to provide some further context on why I believe these appointments are important and how they fit within the broader direction of the Company. If you did not get a chance to see the news release, you can access it HERE.
When we announced our first advisory group earlier this year, I explained that we were being intentional about strengthening the experience, capabilities and relationships surrounding MVMD. These latest appointments continue that process and add complementary experience across clinical and consumer health, regenerative agriculture, strategic communications, technology, intellectual property, governance, international business development and U.S. capital markets.
As I said at the time, advisors do not build businesses. Our management team remains responsible for execution, commercial discipline and delivering results. However, the right people around the table can improve the quality of our decisions, help us identify and access relevant opportunities, and increase the speed at which important relationships can be developed.
This group was selected with those objectives in mind. Dr. Zach Bush and Dr. Sanjeev Goel bring extensive experience across clinical medicine, consumer health, longevity, food systems and the relationship between human and planetary health. Erai Beckmann adds international commercialization, regulatory and emerging technology experience. Mehcad Brooks brings a combination of entrepreneurship, media, technology and engagement with global audiences. Eric Zember adds substantial experience across intellectual property, technology transactions, governance and strategic growth.
Collectively, these individuals add important capabilities to the advisory group announced in April. The combined group now surrounds MVMD with experience spanning formulation science, regulatory strategy, clinical and consumer health, agriculture, manufacturing, commercialization, communications, intellectual property, business development and capital markets.
There is a deliberate progression behind this.
For much of MVMD’s history, our work was naturally focused on developing, testing and validating our technologies. That foundational work remains critical, but the next stage requires us to increasingly convert those assets into commercial partnerships, licensed products and scalable revenue opportunities. The capabilities required also evolve as a business moves from technology development toward broader commercialization.
In human health, Quicksome™ continues to progress from individual product applications toward a broader delivery platform with potential across nutraceuticals, compounded pharmacy products, peptides and other bioactive molecules. In agriculture, Agrarius™ has generated encouraging field validation across multiple crops and regions, while creating opportunities within regenerative agriculture, food systems and broader biological performance. We are also continuing to build relationships and capabilities that support stronger U.S. business development and prepare the Company for the capital markets opportunities we continue to evaluate.
The pattern across these activities is intentional. MVMD is no longer being developed around a single technology, product or market. We are building across human health, agriculture and broader opportunities where advanced technologies can improve health, performance, resilience and accessibility. It is increasingly important that our team, strategy and market positioning reflect the full scope of that work.
I believe MVMD is moving through an important period of evolution. Our commercial focus is becoming sharper, the capabilities surrounding the Company are becoming stronger, and the broader purpose connecting our work is becoming increasingly clear.
I am encouraged by the progress being made and by the increasing clarity around what MVMD is becoming. With the right people, a stronger foundation and a sharper commercial focus, I believe we are well positioned to convert the opportunities now in front of us into meaningful commercial progress.
Thank you, as always, for your continued support and belief in our vision of More Life. More Life has long been the vision connecting our work across human health, agriculture and biological performance. As the breadth of our opportunities continues to expand, that vision is becoming increasingly relevant to the future we are building.
