Dear friends of MVMD,
This morning we announced animportant advancement in our Quicksome™ technology platform and I wanted toprovide some additional context on why I believe this work is significant forMVMD. If you didn't get a chance to see the news release, you can access ithere.
Over the past six months, ourteam has been quietly building formulation capabilities focused on peptides, one of the fastest-growing categories in human health today. While manyinvestors are familiar with GLP-1 therapies such as Ozempic®, Wegovy®, and otherweight management products, peptides extend far beyond weight loss and areincreasingly being utilized across recovery, anti-aging, hormonal health, tissue repair, metabolic health, and broader wellness applications.
What makes peptidesparticularly interesting is that many currently require injection andrefrigerated storage. These limitations create challenges around patientadoption, distribution, logistics, and accessibility. Our focus is not onowning peptide molecules themselves. Rather, our objective is to positionQuicksome™ as a differentiated delivery platform capable of helping moveimportant molecules toward a more accessible sublingual format.
Today's announcement isimportant because it demonstrates that we have moved beyond theory. Over thepast six months, our team has completed initial formulation work acrossmultiple commercially relevant peptides, including BPC-157, GHK-Cu, KPV,SNAP-8, and retatrutide. While there remains additional formulation andcommercialization work ahead, I believe this represents an important validationof Quicksome™ and its potential applicability across a rapidly growingcategory.
The timing is also noteworthy. The regulatory and political environment surrounding peptides continues toevolve. Recent comments from U.S. Health and Human Services Secretary Robert F.Kennedy Jr., together with upcoming FDA reviews of multiple peptides currentlyunder consideration for expanded compounding pathways, suggest the category maybe entering a period of meaningful change. These developments have contributedto growing industry interest in peptide-based therapies and the deliverytechnologies that may improve accessibility, convenience, and patient adoption.
What excites me most is thatthis opportunity aligns directly with the core strengths of Quicksome™. Ourprior FDA-related cold chain work demonstrated the platform's ability tostabilize sensitive molecules outside traditional refrigerated environments.Today, we are applying those same principles to a category that could benefittremendously from improved delivery, convenience, and accessibility.
Most importantly, thisannouncement reflects the continued evolution of Quicksome™ from a promisingtechnology into a platform with potential applicability across multiple largeand growing commercial categories. Combined with our recently strengthened balancesheet, expanded advisory team, and growing commercialization discussions, Ibelieve MVMD is entering this next phase from a position of increasingstrength.
I am encouraged by the progressbeing made and the opportunities beginning to emerge from the foundation ourteam has spent years building.
Thank you, as always, for yourcontinued support and belief in our vision of More Life.
